Playing Multiple Sit and Go Tournaments in Online Poker

Online Poker, Sit and Go Tournaments
June 11 2008

The big thing with online players these days is to be able to play multiple Sit and Go tournaments at once. Hevad Khan, a successful young online player, claims to be able to play 43 games at once – quite the feat if it’s true. For the rest of us who play two or three at once, there are a couple of important things to consider as we play.

When you play the extra games it’s tough to get proper reads on opponents because there is too much action going on at once. This leads to a mechanical style of play that good opponents will recognize and use to their advantage. Playing multiple tables can also lead to hitting the wrong button on the wrong game, which can be very frustrating. If the Sit and Go tournaments you’re playing are No Limit, a mistake like this could cost you the tournament.

The only real advantage of multiple Sit and Go tournaments is that you can earn money at a faster rate if you win often. If you can dominate a certain level, then playing more than one tournament at a time may work for you. For most people, playing multiple tournaments is not a good idea, and they end up losing more often than they would if they were playing just one event at a time.
